Saturday just hours before the start of the Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR confiscated parts from the Penske Racing Team cars of Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano. As we await NASCAR’s penalties to be levied, rumors are now swirling that Penske Racing was ratted out by Hendrick Motorsports who had cars in neighboring garage stalls with both the No. 2 and the No. 22 cars.
I don’t know about everyone else, but this really whole ordeal reminds me of the infamous tire-gate between Roush Racing and Hendrick Motorsports back in the 1998 season.
Leading into the 1998 season, Hendrick Motorsports had been on a roll of domination.
