Sprint Cup veteran Ken Schrader will again drive part time in 2012 as he plans to drive 9 races for FAS Lane Racing. The car will be sponsored by Federated Auto Parts beginning with the March 11th race at Las Vegas.
Last year Schrader drove in 7 events for the Frank Stoddard owned team. Stoddard served in the role of crew chief last season and thus far no one else has been named for 2012. The best finish for Schrader in the car was a 21st place run in the fall Matinsville race when he completed 499 of the 500 laps. He did lead two laps at Darlington in May. This will be the 28th season of running at the Sprint Cup level for Schrader. He has run 740 events thus far in his career scoring 4 wins, 64 top-5’s, and 184 top-10’s. He has led a lap in each season dating back to 1985.
