Trevor Bayne in Bristol: Three previous Nationwide races: Fall 2012 – started 1st, finished 16th Spring 2012 – started 2nd, finished 8th Fall 2011 – started 7th, finished 13th Ranks in the top ten among drivers with the fastest speed on a lap Ranks seventh for most green-flag passes, and third among “quality” passes (passing a car in the top 15 while under a green flag) Sixth most “laps led” with 64 Local Connections: Trevor grew up in Knoxville, TN and considers Bristol his home track Roush Fenway Racing in the Sam’s Town 300: 2012 – The No.6 team started 6th and went on to win the race with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. behind the wheel Overall Nationwide stats: 88 starts,1 win, 14 top fives, 32 top tens, 6 poles, 345 laps led Bayne on Racing at his home track: Bristol is one of my favorite tracks and the place I have the most experience out of the NASCAR schedule. We are normally fast there, but are still looking for that first win in front of the hometown crowd! Bayne on his fan support in TN: It is always cool coming home and getting to see my friends and family! Meeting my TN fans during autograph sessions, that Bristol and Food city put on, is always something I look forward to all year. They are some of the best fans in the country! Bayne on gaining momentum in the season: Obviously Daytona didn’t give us the start to the season we were looking for, but we have been on a strong bounce back run the last two weeks with two 4th place finishes. The cars have been unbelievably fast this year and I’m proud of my team for the finishes! We’ve got a lot of racing left to do.
