Getting to grow up and watch Ward and Jeff Burton race was a breath of fresh air. Two guys that played fair, followed the rules, and were down right likable guys.

Burton brings family effort to NASCAR
Ward Burton returns to racing at Daytona International Speedway, but this time it's a completely different experience.
First, the 2002 Daytona 500 champion is racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this trip. And second, he's doing so in part to help boost the effort of his son, Jeb.
The two are racing as teammates this season, sharing the Hillman Racing truck...

Ward behind the wheel in 2007
Ward Burton will be back in NASCAR. A five time winner at the Sprint Cup level and winner of the 2002 Daytona 500, Burton will drive select races in the Camping World Truck Series in 2012.
Burton will share the seat with his son Jeb who recently raced in the Whelen All-American series. Ward will drive the truck at Daytona since Jeb is not yet qualified...

Veteran NASCAR Camping World Truck Series crew chief Mike Hillman Sr. is venturing into truck team ownership in 2012 with Hillman Racing. His new team announced on Thursday that it would begin competition with Ward Burton behind the wheel of its No. 27 truck in the NextEra 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 24.
