This draft class shoulda coulda been so much more. Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson was one of the greatest players to ever play for Purdue, a scoring and rebounding machine. Jason Kidd was schooling NBA stars on the regular back when he was still in high school. And Grant Hill was going to be “The Next Jordan.” Add to the mix college standouts such as Donyell Marshall and Juwan Howard and the 1994 draft class looked like it was going to be something special.
Things didn’t quite play out like they were supposed to, however. Other than Jason Kidd, none of the other big names really quite reached their potential in the NBA, due to injuries or other issues. But any draft class with Jason Kidd in it is still a pretty special class. That said, its no surprise who ends up no. 1 on this remix.
