Charlotte Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson will sit out Saturday night against the Washington Wizards after re-aggravating his back in Friday night's loss to Philadelphia.
Henderson missed Wednesday night's game against the Wizards, but returned to play against the 76ers.
However, coach Paul Silas says he believes Henderson might have injured his back during a fall Friday...
Wow! What a week for the Charlotte Bobcats. Those of you that have read my rambling in the past know that I prefer not to go off on tirades on the current and very dire straits of the franchise. With that in mind, the above words are about the only thing I can really say. [...]
As you can see in Desagana Diop's free throw last night, anything outside of a foot has a rare chance of going in. At least the technique is there, unlike Chuck Hayes and Joakim Noah. Do big men still have to make 10 free throws in a row before they leave practice? [Follow me @TravisHouser]

Like a recurring nightmare, the Bobcats and Wizards played again on Saturday night. My first impression was astonishment at what a large, lively crowd was on hand in Charlotte. This time, Charlotte Bobcats coach Paul Silas didn't stick around to watch the carnage.Click to Continue »
Let me start by saying that I had to whip this up real quick. I’ve got a long car ride coming up tomorrow and I have to sleep at least a few hours so I’m around to author this blog come Sunday morning. I’m also in a pretty lousy mood, apparently. I didn’t even realize the extent of it until I re-read this sh!t. It’s bursting at the seams with negativity. ...

I missed this dunk from Saturday’s game. It is awesome.

Bobcats coach Paul Silas wasn't on the court Friday night to see his team lose a season-high seventh straight game.
Rookie Kemba Walker assembled his first NBA triple-double Saturday, finishing with 20 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, but the Charlotte Bobcats fell to the Washington Wizards 102-99 at Time…Click to Continue »
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With 4.6 seconds left in the game Saturday night, JaVale McGee stood at the free-throw line, with the Wizards up by three points over the Charlotte Bobcats. McGee missed them both. With the clock winding down, Bobcats guard Matt Carroll had a good look at a 3-pointer ...
