Finally the playoffs are here. A shortened season that felt like eternity down the
stretch waiting to establish the playoff match ups. Now we are here as the Chicago Bulls waited until the last
game to find out that they would be playing the Philadelphia 76ers. Chicago finished the season with the
best record of 50-16 with Derrick Rose missing 27 games. Philadelphia started the season
off hot but closed out the ceiling with more losses than wins. What they can do in the playoffs is a
mystery.
The Chicago Bulls have been there and done that. They shouldn’t have any difficulty in
this series because Philadelphia struggles to score inside. Chicago doesn’t play the best defense
for no reason, Tom Thibodeau has a fantastic scheme that has proven to work for
multiple teams. Integrating Derrick Rose back to full strength during the
playoffs will be the key, while finishing the series in 4 or 5 in the first
