Jamal Crawford isn’t likely to stay with the Portland Trail Blazers after a disappointing season with them last season. The former Sixth Man of the Year could be traded, however, before he opts out of his contract.

The Portland Trail Blazers are fielding trade offers for guard Jamal Crawford and the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Boston Celtics are among the teams actively pursuing the scoring specialist intensely, a league source said. Other teams who have shown diminutive interest are the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns according to a person familiar with the situation. [...] A trade would grant Crawford his Bird Rights and If he isn’t traded before or on draft night (June 28), Crawford is expected to opt out and become an unrestricted free agent the very next day.
Crawford would fit well with any of these teams.
The Celtics could use some help off the bench now with Ray Allen likely not returning. The Sixers could always use some help to improve their depth, and also with Lou Williams possibly not returning. Then there are the Timberwolves, who are always looking at guards to add to their team.
