2013/2014 Indiana Pacers Season Preview2011/2012 Regular Season W/L Record: 42-242012/2013 Regular Season W/L Record: 49-32Additions: Luis Scola, C.J. Watson, Chris Copeland, Solomon Hill, Donald SloanSubtractions: Tyler Hansbrough, D.J. Augustin, Gerald Green, Miles Plumlee, Jeff PedergraphIf things go well...If things go as planned for the Indiana Pacers, Larry Bird will lead this group even further forward than the past few seasons. Last season they came within one game of making it to the NBA Finals and this is the season of the highest expectations...winning a championship. The Pacers had some rotation issues last season and they attemped to address them by cleaning out the bench and bringing in five usable tools. Scola, Watson, Copeland, Hill, and Sloan should bring added depth and support for one of the top starting 5's in the NBA. Paul George will have to continue to improve and lead this franchise to the promised land.If things go poorly...Danny Granger is injured already (out 3-4 week to start the season). Hopefully for the Pacers this doesn't begin a snowball of injuries because that could be the only thing that holds them back from reaching their goal for this season. Offense could also be an issue. The Pacers are an extremely solid defensive team but, despite all of their success in 12/13, they struggled to score, shoot, and shoot 3's. The return of Derrick Rose in Chicago may reduce their regular season wins total and could also produce a dymamite matchup in the 2nd round of the playoffs.PSD Predicted 2013/2014 W/L Record: 49-32
