NOAH GRAHAM  NBAEGETTY IMAGES The Clippers and the Grizzlies have a violent recent history. They don't like each other much and last years playoffs were a perfect indication we are going to enjoy some of that same bad blood this year. All the Lob-City crap will be put on hold. Well maybe not on hold but this will not be a run and gun shoot out. High flying high jinx will be  be met with retaliation. Nothing will come easy and as the Grizzlies found out the hard way last year, no lead will ever be enough to sit on. OFFENSE/DEFENSE RANKINGS (points per 100 possession) Grizzlies: offense 101.7 (18th in NBA), defense 97.4 (2nd in NBA) Clippers: offense 107.7 (4th in NBA), defense 101.0 (9th in NBA) Season Series: Clippers 3-1 Key Players:  LA Clippers (56-26) -- Chris Paul: This maybe the pivot point for the Grizzlies. If they want to beat the Clippers they need to find a way to handcuff Paul. Paul is the best point guard in the league capabl...

This is a rematch of last year’s series between the Clippers and the Grizzlies.  In Game 1, the Grizzlies were all over the Clippers until LA came back from 26 points to win the game.  It was a miraculous comeback.  The Clipps ended up taking the series in seven games.  This year, the Grizzlies look for revenge. What L.A. needs to do to win: In last year’s series, the Clippers...

Chris Paul Expects to be Back With Clippers but not Eric Bledsoe

It has become sort of an open secret that Chris Paul is going to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul, is a free agent after the season and while there has been some speculation as to where his future lies, it’s expected that he’ll sign a max deal with the team and be back throwing lobs to Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan next season. Unfortunately, for backup point guard...

Fashion Glance: NBA Playoffs Game 1 – Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Chris Paul & more

The NBA playoffs kicked off over the weekend. Of course besides the on court action, one of my favorite things to take in is the postgame action that has become the catwalk for NBA athletes. Gold is still MAJOR. It’s spring so an infusion of color is mandatory. Let’s take a look at what HE wore this weekend: King James rocked Staple Pigeon. The look is actually moderately priced...

PLAYOFFS 2013 : Players To Watch

It's common knowledge: Stars win in the playoffs. LeBron. Melo. Durant. Chris Paul. Tim Duncan. Dwight Howard. These big names bring ticket sales and (usually) wins where ever they go. Casual fans know them all on sight. But every team has a lesser known player who the fans gravitate to, who's every now and then busts out a move or two that electrifies the crowd, brings ...

Clippers down Grizzlies for 1-0 lead

The Los Angeles Clippers played above the rim, not enough to live up to their Lob City moniker but enough to beat Memphis at its own rebounding game. Chauncey Billups...

One year after the Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies engaged in a bruising first-round, seven-game playoffs series, theyre preparing to resume hostilities. A few of the names have changed, but for the most part, it will be Blake Griffin vs. Zach Randolph, DeAndre Jordan vs. Marc Gasol, Chris Paul vs. Mike Conley. The previous playoff series was rough and tumble; this one, the Clippers...
