That's awesome that you read our comments and take in some of the info we have to give back. It just seems every team loves to double team you as soon as you get the ball. So yea as soon as you dish it back out ya'll can make another quick play and get on the board with some points. You've been doing good with that so far and so has the team all together with passing from one side to the other and knockin down some 3's.

When AI left my Philly squad, I knew big things were ahead for you and him. Thats a nice duo right there on any court against any squad. I cant wait to watch yall play the Celts then the Pistons in late Feb. Big games right there for confidence headin into the post-season. Really big game tonight, Im really anxious to see A.C. go up against Nash, should be a fun game to watch. By the way, whoever decided to bring in A.C. is a genius, since Andre left, the team hasnt had anybody who can run a game from start to finish. Whats the deal with JR, he hasnt been playing lately, is that just because of ACs great play, or has he lost his confidence? I really enjoy watching JR play when he is on. Keep your head up, and keep playing with all your heart and nothing but good things will come from it, I cant wait come playoff time so you guys can show the world what the Nuggets are truely capable of. All-star game is shaping up to be something to watch too, I hope Camby gets the nod also, he has deserved it the past couple of years. Go Nuggets, take the Suns down a notch! Oh yeah, Melo 4 MVP! Melo, you and AI really are really starting to gel as one of, if not the, toughest 1-2 combos in the league today. It's been fun to watch. Big game tonight against the run-n-gun suns. If you guys limit their penetration and contest their threes I think you will do fine. Run as much as you can but be careful with the ball. The suns turn turnovers into easy baskets quicker than anyone. Try not to get too frustrated with the constant double teams, don't let them take you out of your game. Make the quick read and find the open spot up shooter or cutter, you know how to roll. If they double you all game, try to get some extra touches by crashing the o-boards.
One thing I have been wondering about these past few weeks, it seems like you really like to operate in the post on the wing. Have you ever considered implementing the bank shot in to your repertoire, ala Tim Duncan and Kobe? If you mastered that mid range bank shot, you'd be even more dangerous than you currently are. Well, that's all I got, Good Luck! I wanna be there watching you guys chase 5 straight on Friday.

Melo, my man, everything was workin well in the Suns game. They played their game, and you guys played urs. But the thing is, you guys never defend any 3's, more imp.. bareli neone takes 3's xcept iverson and klieza.. and the thing is, when you guys are winning a game, everyone KNOCKS DOWN THEIR 3's, but when you guys are behind.. it seems like you guys completely shut off the 3 point range, other than that it looekd good yestereday. C'mon after allll those 3's you guys still came down to 11, but it shows that you guys slacked off on D right after thatt But hopefully you guys will bounce back, afterall u guys did take the spurs down.. nd Dallas this season, so that sez alot.

I agree with some people, but what you guys need to do is play the NUGGET GAME, not theirs. Your game is about attacking the rim and getting to the lane, then onto the line for some free-throws. You guys fell into the habbit against the Suns about playing their game, you got into a shooting contest. You guys are amazing shooters, but running and fast-break points is what the Nuggets have made their name upon. Melo, it is amazing that you actually take our advice, it means so much to me, and especailly everyone else in the crowd. The only thing I have to say to you is this, when Nene and Camby are on the bench, we need YOU to rebound. Your the only other BIG out there. Yes Najera can rebound, but you have the muscle to out-power other small forwards, and the quickness to beat some guards. Keep attacking the rim. I noticed that you were getting frustrated with the refs in the Suns game, and believe me, I was yelling at my T.V. to. lol. But if you stay smart and level headed, you'll get the calls. Your quickly emerging in front of our eyes, to be an amazing player/ all star. You WILL get the appropriate calls from the refs, and most importantly, the RESPECT of them as well. Hey Melo, the game with Phoenix was a test for you all. everyone is shooting 3 pointers now. it seems when the opposite team has 2 or more good 3 pointers, you guys dont have an answer for them, and you all lose the game. if you guys don't work on 3 pointers, perimiter shooting, and defense, you might drop completely out of the playoffs. with all of your talents, you can do better. Be consistent on defense. please don't let us down. AI is giving it all he has. you guys give him some help. why don't they play JR more? He has the energy. lift your heads up and Go Go Nuggs.

hey Melo, Please tell your Coach that the fans are asking, and want Jr to come out at least in the 3rd quaurter, because that's when you guys get sluggest. JR will boost your energy. And you need another shooter. JR can do that.

Just a workout, Melo, just a workout. You got 3 of 4 in 5 days and you just got to keep on rollin. Refs don't make it easy. We see all those swipes on you you be getting under the rim - don't let it drain you, you be working hard and bring that ethic to each game and you'll win 75%, right? Just like a free throw, sometimes one rolls out.
But please, get a body on those perimeter shooters......that last one in the 3rd quarter, opponents seem to be good at getting that last shot in, somehow it's not looking like luck any more. Just alter the shots and get the rebounds - yeah they'll start missing, but sometimes you got to make them miss.

Melllloooooo!!!!!! i just watched the game against phoenix on the computer and then i went and checked our team's standings. if you notice, this win 3 and lose 1 is not an unfamiliar pattern for us and i blame a lot of it on being tired and then having to play the number 3 team who just had a rest is kind of hard. i wanted to win bad but i knew it was gonna be trouble when i saw who we were playing with no rest but on the up and up side they had to get their points on the outside because our defense is tough. as bad as i want to win them all i know thats hardly possible but i must admit i am a nugget forever and i just learned that one of the most important keys of basketball is confidence and we have that so we are a hell of a team and as i tell my younger basketball players if you go out and do your best you have already won. i love you and i will see you in charlotte. i got my tickets and am traveling from richmond virginia. lets get the rest of the games doing the best we can and resting up as much as we can.

Mellooooo! i just watched the game against phoenix on the computer and then i went and checked our teams standings. we play better as a team now than before and you are doing some of everything. what more can we ask for. as far as the phoenix game, you all were on your 4th game in 5 nights and they had rested at least one night. and they had to get their points for outside because our defense is tight in the paint. after all, we just beat "the number one defensive team in the nba" the spurs. keep getting better and i will see you in charlotte on the 14th rest well

OK....Well, got that 1 out of the way for the month time 2 move on right.....right. Everything was on target except for.....yeah "perimeter shooters" I understand that per the scouting report that the game plan was 2 let Shawn Marion take that shot. Guess the game plan went as planned just not as expected. So there was some anger in regard 2 that game huh? That is a good thing, good n that for the next game the team should b fired up and the intensity should reach an explosive level...What U think? That game really was physical, I can't remember seeing the Nuggets play a more physical team this season and that did make things hard as U said but at the same time as I have said b4, I think the scouting report for other teams, coaches and players is 2 get U frustrated and try 2 take U out of your game. They know that otherwise they can't defend U....they just can't. I don't think U were making excuses....that game was 2 physical for the calls made. I think it is very clear that U r my favorite, preferred, player......whether the Nuggets, NBA.....whatever but I have 2 repeat myself n saying that U r a special player, teammate, person and I just hope that your teammates realize it...especially A.I. It can b good 2 b a follower if it's good for every1 else, good for the "Team" Don't get 2 satisfied with being a follower Melo, because U have proven that U r a true leader with the Nuggets. We need U 2 keep being U, don't resort 2 being n the back seat because the type player that U r and the type play that U have been giving is the biggest "Plus" for us....(statistics proves this...I know I have seen them). It really doesn't make any difference if A.I. scores big or barely at all, U r that factor because honestly, your play is extended n so many areas for the team and with the team. I do understand what U mean though about the team bonding. That is a good thing because being bonded as a team can b so vital n turning things that may b otherwise negatives n2 positives. On the flipside...A.I. is individually a good player. And I do defend U well....every1 knows that if they r gonna talk 2 me about Melo if it's not positive...they have no conversation with me on that subject and that's just that........on that. Friday nite will b the start of a new and maybe lengthier streak for us.....make sure the team comes out "fired" ok....ok. See U then........Lots of Luv

Great Jan! I am from CO and used to sit behind the bench for games at the Pepsi Center. Now I work in SLC and go to Jazz game ('cause I love NBA ball)... but it ain't the same. The Nuggets and Pepsi Ctr rule!!! Can't wait to see you in SLC.
Make sure to take it to the hole more and continue your good D. The jumpers will fall... don't settle for them. Oh... the zebras will get you to the line eventually. Hang in there and keep takin it inside.

I have been a fan of yours since you first came to the nuggets. I have to admit AI was a good addition to the line-up and you cant deny that MC is the heart of this defense. I admire the fact that you guys bring so much heart to the game and I hope one day you will put Denver on the map as one of the premier teams in the league ( I get tired of ESPN jocking all those east coast teams)

I love your game, and I can tell you have been workin a lot harder all round, D and all. But please, i hate when you keep complaining to the officials every time you don't get the call. I know that usually you deserve it, but you're game WILL go to the next level when you expect to be fouled everytime you drive to the hoop, and expect that there will be no call. Refs been on some Bullshit against the nugz and i don't know why, but i know they aint gonna change. Just hustle back on D and make em pay next time. I think once you do that maybe them refs will start showin some luv.

sup mello, wanted to let you and the team know that your on theright track and looking good. im originally a huge iverson fan since 96, and he went to denver i was excited to see him immersed in such a pool pf talent. mainly yourself. even though i would sell my kidney just to meet allen in person, i still think you are the key to the whole picture mello. I think you may be the most skilled player in basketball today. and remember this is coming from the iverson fan 4 life. we both know allen feeds off that heart of his, he dont have the best jumper, he dont jump the highest, and these days i doubt he runs the fastest, but you have a skillset that most players would kill for. The thing i like the most is that i think the two of you can feed off each other and share your strengths and negate each others weakness. The media may be overlooking you now because of boston doing well and portland on fire, but I know what you can become, and have known for years what iverson already brings to the table. Try to match his will and hisintensity with that gift you have, and i think the more you make a conscious effort to play as hard as he does you will find yourself on an all new level, and unable to walk off the court from exhaustion. Effot heart, and will, can take you further in that league than verical leap, or foot speed, or strength. Me and all my freinds gotta lot of love for yall denver boys. keep doing it big, the sky is the limit for a team as good as yours. Stay healthy play every game like its your last!
