Found January 18, 2013 on Project Spurs:
The San Antonio Spurs (30-11) will host the Golden State Warriors (23-14) tonight as the Spurs will look to extend their current winning streak to 15 games in a row. This will be the first meeting between these two teams this season. The Spurs are coming off a convincing win over the Grizzlies at home 103-82. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 19 points, eight rebounds, and five blocks while Tony Parker added 17 points and 11 assists. The Warriors come into the game limping and will be without guard Stephen Curry who re-injured his surgically repaired right ankle. And it will be a tall task for the Warriors to win in San Antonio without their star guard who have lost 27 games in a row. Golden State is coming off a 92-75 loss to Miami. And as the Spurs look to continue their home dominance over the Warriors, and welcome former Spur Richard Jefferson back in San Antonio, here are five things to watch for during the game: • Spurs' Tony Parker is averaging 23.8 points and 9.8 assists in his last five home games versus the Warriors. • The Warriors are 3-1 when former Spur Jefferson scores at least seven points. • The Warriors are 15-7 when Jarrett Jack scores in double figures. •The Warriors are 11-4 against opponents with winning records. • The Warriors are 8-2 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field and when holding opponents below 40 percent, they are 8-1.

Tony Parker finished with 25 points and 8 assists including this nifty "and 1" on Golden State in the third quarter. Check out TP doing some havoc on the Warriors last night as he connects on a basket after the harm.

Video: Parker attacks paint for 3-point play

Without Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker was going to be the lone star for the San Antonio Spurs and he didn't disappoint against the Atlanta Hawks. Parker had a brief moment where he saw no one protecting the rim and didn't think twice about driving for a strong layup for a three point play. Tiago Splitter also sets a great pick to bump the defender out of the...
