  After news that Lou Williams would be out indefinitely with a strained right hamstring, the Sixers made a roster move. Signing former 4th overall pick, Antonio Daniels to a 10-day contract. Daniels, who hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2008-09 season, has been playing this year with the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League. Daniels was the 4th overall pick in the 1997 draft by the then Vancouver Grizzlies. Daniels has bounced around, playing for 6 different NBA teams in his 12-year NBA career. Including fourseasons with the San Antonio Spurs, who he won the NBA championship with in the lockout-shortened 1998-99 season. With important games still left for the Sixers, it’s hard to imagine Daniels getting the kind of look necessary to stay on board with the team.
