In this edition of 76ersCentral.com’s Exit Meetings, we’ll take a look at Tony Battie, Jrue Holiday and Marreese Speights. Tony Battie Battie, at age 35 is certainly on the down-swing of his career. The Former 5th overall pick in the 1997 draft, was signed by the 76ers last season to add some much needed size down-low. Battie only saw action in 38 games this season, averaging poor numbers in rebounds and points per game. Granted, Battie only saw an average of about 10 minutes per game, but Battie will not be back with the 76ers. Jrue Holiday Holiday, in his 2nd year as a pro, started all 82 games at the point-guard position. He averaged 14 points and 7 assists during the year, and seemed to blossom in the role as floor general. After some early season struggles, head coach Doug Collins was able to incorporate Holiday into the offensive flow, along with being a play-maker.
