I know your very sad, GSWGirl. And I am, sincerely, sorry for your loss. It must feel like a kick it the gut. I guess I'm wondering if the draft (along with not being offered a long-term deal) had anything to do with his decision. What do you think?
I think it's pretty much financially motivated. You can't blame the guy cause the Warriors front office didn't exactly roll out the red carpet for him. The W's had to make a decision if they were going to go for the gusto this season or try to get something special together for 2-3 years down the line. They went for future.
This is fine with me I just wish they didn't raise season tix by 30%.
But I am pretty gutted about this. :-(
I will really miss his swagger. I hope the Clippers appreciate him.
I don't think so. Wiz are offering him gobs o' money.
As much as I love that jumper...I just don't think he's proven that he can stay healthy. they need to go after a young buck so they can all grow together.
I immediately thought of you when I first heard the news. I'm with KatKat, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how awful it feels, when Marion left for Miami this season, I cried! Just be thankful that you have more intelligence and class than some of the people posting over on Barons blog. The comments they're leaving him are terrible.
I just read some of the comments on booms last post. people are retarded over there, talk about ungrateful. sure its sad but real fans should be supportive since he made this move for his own happiness, if they want to be angry at someone be angry at the management for letting this happen.
this sucks. but he was respectful and thanked us. i wish we would of heard this from him somehow instead...
I planned to move to vegas for a dream job, but decided to stick around for one more season... now what am i gonna do? =/
might as well have my warriors themed going away party like i had planned... suits the situation anyways...
le sigh.
Warriors Fans I feel bad for you.....Thats why I dedicated an article on Golden State warriors and the fact that they love to let Good Players Go....I agree people are going bananas on his blog and recent articles...Emotion over Knowledge makes you look like a fool..
.Now im hearing Warriors trying to get Elton Brand and Monta Ellis might be going...That sucks for Baron if that happens but all in all, Baron is a human being like all of us and he wanted to do whats best for him..Lets just hope he doesnt turn out to be a hometown heroin like da crackhead I have to deal with, Stephon Marbury...Definetly not..
this is weird, i am in LA, love B Dizz, but he just seemed to fit in the Bay area like butter on toast. the Oracle would erupt during those Boom Dizzle fueled fast breaks and he def wont get the appreciation he got up there there down here.
Mullin would have to resurrect the liter of vodka he drank before every St. John's game too. Bring back C-Webb and Sprewell. Throw in PJ and Tom Tolbert too.
definite playoff team, my ass. They have no players that play defense, and Diddy is gonna start his feud with Dun come December. Add to that the only passer on the team has been riddled as "shoot first" throughout his career, they're going nowhere... especially in the West.
