Pre-game fireworks that nearly melted your face, the unveiling of the Red Auerbach parquet and four wardrobe changes by the Celtics dancers (including the tightest leather pants since Jim Morrison slithered around at the Whiskey A-Go-Go) were but a few of the highlights from this effervescent opening salvo for the 2007-08 season. How big a game was it? Big enough that Mike Rotondi, the official president of Celtic nation, said he was on time for his first game in 21 years. Wow.
And the Crack Staff's Courtside Correspondents were there for every wonderful second of it. After the game our very own Beef Stallone caught up with Brian Scalabrine, Scot Pollard, and most humbly Our Sensei Kendrick Perkins to get their thoughts on this special evening.
