The Len Bias tragedy has always intrigued me. I'm curious about the details of what happened and why. I'm curious about what might have been. I'm curious about the number of tragic deaths in the Celtics organization and how that effected their legacy. I was too young to really follow basketball at the time, but my teachers all thought that if Bias had ever suited up, we'd be paying $200 a pair for Air Bias'.
I did get to somewhat know coach Charles G. "Lefty" Driesell while a student at and fan of Georgia State University. I never thought about it until right now, we had an amazing run while he was there, but couldn't get over the hump. During that period two of our top players were killed and another was booted for drugs... Curious.
