Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction! Back in February when Dallas Mavericks veteran small forward Devean George refused a trade to the New Jersey Nets he was one of the most unpopular people in the "Lone Star State." By refusing to go to the Nets, George almost ended up scuttling the deal that brought Dallas point guard Jason Kidd. The deal eventually was completed, but it was due to some last minute scrambling for substitute players.
