For the second game in a row, the Celtics gave up a 4th quarter lead to lose a game they should have won. A few thoughts from this game.
The Celtics weren't aggressive and seemed to be playing s step slow all night. They were beaten on the boards 42-34. The Sixers had 48 points in the paint to only 28 for the Celtics. Philly had 20 fast break points to only 5 for the Celtics...

A Loss at Home to Philly - By Design?
The Celtics let the 76er's back in the game in the 4th quarter, where they yielded a 11 point lead with 8:19 left in the game to Iguodala and Company, ultimately losing 95-90. It was similar to the game they lost on Saturday to the Hornets where they let an 8-point lead evaporate in a 4th quarter let-down. Now there appear to be some patterns in each where a lead is garnered...

The Sixers did something tonight that good teams are supposed to do: beat up on the bad teams. The Sixers completely dominated the Bulls in every facet of the game, winning 121-99. It was a great overall team effort, with good defensive plays leading to tons of fast break points. There was no one hero tonight, as several guys stepped up and had good games. Andre Miller was awesome...

Amid all the hoopla and standing ovations for Allen Iverson's return to Philadelphia Wednesday, the Answer held his own private, off-court celebration as well. Iverson apparently skipped Wednesday morning's shoot-around with his current team, the Denver Nuggets, as a sort of homage to his days with the Sixers.

The Tale Behind the 76ers Surge to the Playoffs
5-12 to begin the season doesn't leave much hope, and it showed as attendance fell off dramatically.
But the only people that never gave up were the players on this Sixers team.
People have doubted them all year and will continue to do so, even after wins against San Antonio, Detroit, Denver, and Boston.
That's fine with the Sixers. Oh, and they'll welcome you...
