The pictured athlete right there is Andrew Bogut, former number 1 overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks. A few weeks ago, he made some comments about the NBA lifestyle to a newspaper in his native Australia:

The Big Yi appears to have caused a big jump in the number of visitors to this newspaper's Web site after the Milwaukee Bucks chose him in the National Basketball Association draft.

Derek Fisher has announced that he will be released from the Jazz, leaving the $20 million on his contract so that he can spend time with his child as they work to settle the medical issues that the Fisher family struggled with over the past several months.
Fisher is not retiring. However, he doesn't plan to play this upcoming season.

Utah Jazz guard Derek Fisher was released from his contract Monday to care for his 10-month-old daughter, who has cancer.
Fisher and his wife, Candace, said they needed time to search for the best treatment for their daughter, Tatum.

Yesterday I attended the USA U-19 vs. Chinese National Team game at SMU. The main reason I went was to see Yi Jianlian. Judging by the highlights I saw on ESPN he looked pretty good.
