Former Orlando Magic guard, Carlos Arroyo, has just signed a 3-year deal worth $15 million with Israeli basketball giant, Maccabi Tel-Aviv. The contract has an opt-out clause, much like Brandon Jennings and Josh Childress maintain, which would allow them the option to leave each summer for another league (NBA). Wizards Dismantle Heat

Can't say I didn't expect this one. A night after blowing a near legendary performance by Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat had to travel to Washington to face an Arenas-less Wizards team. Nonetheless, this game was over by halftime as the Heat lost 96-74.Things got so bad that an exhausted Wade, who finis...

Sonic Great Ewing, Raptor Legend Olajuwon Headline Hall Of Fame Class Of ‘08

Coach of the current 13 win Miami Heat, Pat Riley, was also elected along with Adrian Dantley, the annoying, loud guy from the Hooters commercials, Pistons owner Bill Davidson, and some woman I’ve never heard of who, for six seasons, coached some school I’ve never heard of.

Notes From The Final Whimper

And so the Celtics 2005/2006 season came to an end with a truly fitting whimper - a draft-position-jeopardizing victory against the few brave souls on the Miami Heat roster cajoled into taking the court and risking serious injury days before the start of the playoffs. Tonight the Boston Celtics play the Miami Heat in what should be an epic battle. This will be a duel between Paul Pierce and Dwayne Wade which should have us on the edge of our seats. I'm anticipating this to be a flashback of game 7, Eastern Conference Finals, when Mr. Larry Bird scored 20 points in the 4th to outdo Dominique Wilkins and take the Cs to the finals -- after...

Could there be another NBA Finals sweep in the future?

Well, like everyone else I stayed up late last night to watch the Dallas Mavericks beat up on the Miami Heat. It wasn't a great game by any means because both teams were playing kind of ugly but the Dallas Mavericks managed to dominate the Heat despite not giving a stellar performance. It looked li...
