Boston Over New York, What a Surprise!

Though the Celts didn't have a 40+ point lead over the Knicks this time, they still dominated them. The game was exciting to say the least. With the eviction on Paul Pierce in the third quarter, Perk's 22 points in the first half, and the return of point guard Rajon Rondo, Boston fans were entertained for the entire 48 minutes.

The game started out relatively close, but in the end the Celtics had a 16 point lead. New York fans even started leaving their Garden early because they couldn't stand to see their team lose. Well, take this message to heart if you're not a Celtics fan: You're in for a very disappointing year.

Perkins dropping 22 was nice to see...he's getting some mentoring from KG...approaching Febuary and like what I see...except the fatigue lapses and PG play...9 deep with bench...need one more PG

the Portland win was nice, but long Feb. coming up where that bench will see if it can hang with DET, CLE and the 6 or so from the west...starting five is there...sounds like the 80's...the iron five with DJ...Doc is an average coach...he's missing that somethin somethin

Detroit has a pretty good record against conference opponents and Cleveland not so good. I think Detroit may be the thorn in the side. Not sure Cleveland can repeat their playoff run of last year. Of course, Hughes has been banged up a little this year, so if he gets healthy, Cavs can make a run. I think depth is a problem for all three teams, so we'll see what happens as the season wears on the playoffs get here. Like the Celts chances though if their main five can stay healthy and strong.

yeah it definately was awesome to see Perk get all those points, ut you're right.... the real tests for the team are coming up later in the season

Knicks have a lot of issues. Boston has a good nucleus of players that are battle-tested. That should help in the playoffs. Depth may be an issue. Not sure.
