They're improving, ha.Instead of Al Jefferson we get the same old cast of characters. Shaq, who has played significantly less games and minutes than Big Al and is averaging 18 and 9. David West, who gets the benefit of playing with Chris Paul on a daily basis and not Randy Foye is averaging 20 and 7. Pau Gasol who is on one of the best teams in the NBA, probably because of Kobe, is averaging 17 and 9. Snooze Snooze Snooze. Give me Big Al.

Offseason Movement: The team acquired Mike Miller as a part of a trade that sent the rights to O.J. Mayo to Memphis for the rights to Kevin Love. Miller is one of the league's best shooters, but he's a good all-around player at a fair price. He should be able to make teams pay if they elect to doubleteam Al Jefferson.

Moving On Up Put On Hold; Jefferson Gone For Season With Torn ACL
The "Associated Press" reported Monday that Minnesota Timberwolves center Al Jefferson has found his season has come to an abrupt finish because of injury. The player who was the centerpiece of the trade that sent Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics before last season, has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, and is done for the campaign.
