Timberwolves Unveil New Logo As They Prepare For The Draft
The Wolves unveiled their new logo today, and I must say it's rather slick. Although I've heard awful rumors about their new unis (namely a big green tree going up the side *shudder*), but that aside the "new" logo that is just a revamped version of the original looks solid. I'll be watching the draft this evening and will report back with reactions to the Wolves draft.
Timberwolves unveil primary, secondary logos
Not only will the Wolves receive a facelift with a the selection of a touted rookie in tonight's NBA Draft, but it also will unveil a new, alternate logo. There's no question the design is fresh and the alternate logos are superb throwbacks. This is an excellent time for the up-and-coming franchise to change it's image.

It looks like Kevin Love is headed to the warm tropical beaches and white sands of…Minnesota. And he's [...]

I'm absolutely positive that Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook will represent UCLA the way it should be. I'll have more [...]
Grizzlies' Controversial Pick Will Change Basketball
"We're excited about this pick," said Grizzlies Head Coach Marc Iavaroni. "He has a hell of a work ethic. He was really killing people in the paint during his workout."
OJ Mayo's NBA All-Food Team
As OJ Mayo has now made his way on to the Memphis Grizzlies, he jokes about his name have already started. The Grizzlies' practices have already been called the "Mayo Clinic" and if OJ ever makes a last-second shot, I'm sure there will be a "Miracle Whip" headline or two. He now joins these fine players to make up the NBA All-Food Team:
Random Draft Day Thoughts
In an AP article reported in the Herald, Danny discussed his thoughts on this year's draft. Some of the highlights:
** The Celtics have worked out about 50 potential draftees, similar to last year's number, and that list has been reduced to 23 possible players for the 30th pick.
** There's not much room for the players the Celtics draft with the 30th and 60th picks...
