BoomDizzle Throttled In Big D

BoomDizzle lost his sizzle as the Warriors fizzled at the AAC. Behind a season high in rebounds and assists, plus the return of Dirk, the Warriors got one of the best games the Mavs have played all year, they get a 111-86 win. Just got home and enjoyed every minute of it. Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, and Al Harrington were held in check and now Dallas owns a two game lead for the eighth and final playoff spot.

NICE i was wondering how the game went!!!!!
Kick AZZ fiver glad you had a good time!!!!

After missing four games with a high ankle sprain, the reigning league MVP made a triumphant return.

NOW that is some air!!!!!!

Yeah.....he still wasn't near 100%, but it provided the emotional lift for them to get this game in the win column. Was fun, for sure.

Now we need a minor miracle. My heart is hurting. :(

Paybacks are hell, aren't they? Was a nice feeling to knock them out of it, but it's not totally over yet. Anything can still happen.

Mavs and Denver both have tough schedules upcoming.
And easy with the pointing and laughing.

Mavs play the Lakers and Phoenix on the road this week, so that could be two easy losses there.

Yeah, I really don't know what to say about that one. We got our asses handed to us on a farking platter.
I just don't like the fact that we now have to count on other teams to handle our biz.
I will be there cheering my little heart out at the next 4 home games. Hopefully my big mouth will be of some help.

Wasn't a good trip to TX for GS, that's for sure. Maybe Dallas gets hot now and starts winning some games. Would be nice to go into the playoffs on a roll.

I had to stop watching. It wasn't pretty.

They really got taken out last night! I am really concerned at this point because they have slipped to the 9th spot and they are fighting with Denver and Dallas for the eighth. It was enough that the Spurs beat them badly now Dallas...they really need to step up their game because their chances of making the playoffs seem slim right now. But in the NBA...amazing things happen! ...lol

I think we got the message........LOL.

glad somebody enjoyed last nights games............watched 2 blowouts on ESPN. celts n mavs looked great...........

More fun when being there live.

absolutely........n when your team is kickin some tail

absolutely........n when your team is kickin some tail

did ya get that?

I loved watching the triumphant return of the reigning MVP. It was great except the half time show when (in usual espn style) Stuart Scott and his moron buddy were in complete disbelief and taking shot after shot at the Mavs. ESPN ANALYSTS SUCK.

correction that was Stephen A. Smith

It's tough having it every night, but it really seems to me that as goes BARON, so go the Warriors. Despite the tough nights had by Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington, Baron's energy , at times, appears to disappear. Is it me being too critical as an armchair sideline Coach, or is BARON running low on jet fuel?

48 min a night is catching up to him and jack. Nelly thinks "resting" is coming out with 15 seconds before 1/2 time.
I know he's a genius yadaydayada....but he had to know this was coming.

Yeah........Davis didn't seem to have his normal energy last night. The whole team just had a bad couple of nights. Nellie likes to run his team and it may catch up with them now.

As much as we would like to think that beard provides some special powers.....he is still a human.

Nellie was accused of using Nash the same way when in Dallas and then Nash was always tired when he got to the playoffs. That's why you see Phoenix resting him anytime they get a chance. He is using Baron the same way.

not to mention that they r fighting form their lives on every poossesion on a last roadtrip before the...........in afraid to even say the word

Dirk and Mavs hitting a little groove right now...looked solid at LA the other night given result...Dirk, obvious, the glue...good game at 3:30...Mavs at Suns...another tough Western game...funny how you can win 50 games and not make playoffs...the stacked West...fact...it's like an NFL team that goes 11-5 and then plays golf

Bad thing is, they are not finishing games like they were last year. Sure, it's tough to win in L.A. , but last year they were winning all of those games. Maybe they can get it done it Phoenix today. Starting to jell a little better with Kidd, but I wasn't big on that trade considering that they made it to the finals with Harris a couple of years ago. They need to get on a roll and start finishing games in the 4th quarter or it will be another early playoff exit.

yeah, all those teams are going to go gladiator in playoffs and go hard given parity...you can't predict with minimal % who will be in conference finals this year...that's another topic, but I think 6 teams, including Mavs can get there...like Dirk, wish he was here...lol...reminds me of a guy that played here long ago...any team going into LA is in for some bad stretches...just hope the Mavs finish better than SA and Mr. Bowen

Well, we did win in Phoenix today, so that was one of the wins this team really needed. Cool deal. Maybe things are finally coming together. Dirk won't be 100% the rest of the season, but those that question his toughness are seeing it now. Most players would not come back that soon from an injury like his. Let's Rock.

hitting groove for sure...looked hungrier than Suns yesterday...team getting collective and intense at right time...good win

Thanks, hope so. Who do the Celts get in the first round? Still to be determined?

looks like the Hawks as the 8 with the handful of games left...a young and tough opponent...looking forward to it...but this is about the Mavs getting it going...Kidd adjusting some and with DN back, things are jelling...hope Mavs play spurs somehow and 4-2 it

Stackhouse has been out the last few games, too. They will have him back for bench strength. If Kidd can just get his shooting touch, then they will be fine.
