it was weird, around the garden didn't seem that bad. we could catch a train and everything, the riot cops looked bored.

I don't condone rioting, I just have been to a concert down at the garden, and the cops like to assert their authority even if there is no riot going on..basically they start sh*t. I don't know about this situation, I have just seen it before.

Utter disgust. Personally, I'm happy the Celtics took home their 17th NBA title (they deserved it), but rioting has no excuse. Good job to the Celtics, and to the fans, not so much. This kind of behavior sorta takes away the pride and glory of the team.

is a shame, but it happens all the time in a lot of cities over the years...the extra mustard by some posts on here is yet another attack on Boston fans we have grown immune to, as opposed to any other city...but we don't care and look forward to next year...point is that the C's just absolutely murdered LA and 2/3rd's of nation can't deal with it...and team wasn't even 100% healthy, that's the beauty most of all...but, most boston fans wouldn't condone these houligans, but singling out all boston fans is ludicrous and irresponsible...and that's being objective

Man, it was tame last night. The cops kicked everybody out of the Bulfinch Triangle/North Station area in the fourth quarter, unless they were in a bar. Thus, all I basically saw was a bunch of people dancing to street performers under the Government Center Parking Garage. Then again, there were some people banging on the windows of Johnnie's on the Side, which just opened on Merrimac Street. Pick your poison, I guess.

i think the sox riots were way out of hand in comparison to this. i remember walking home during one and being terrified. yesterday? everyone was really nice and not terrifying.

exactly Sambot, and Chicago for another example during the Bulls huge runs, not sure of the two years that city went ballistic though...C's riot: mild is correct relatively to Sox, no doubt bro...86 years of perpetual pain for the fanbase...I can't speak for you, but as a Boston teams fan, I would say to the car scrubs last night, "your all incredibly lame"...side opinion; C's have 1-2 years, and that's it, to make a run for #18...and I will say this for LA, historically, a great franchise I have respect for, who, yup, will be real nasty next year...both teams know everything about who they are on the court 100% now, to the optimum, and that's a wicked advantage over all comers in 09'...someone needs to invent a way to burn the DVR'ed game tapings onto CD's...taped all those mofo's...allright, way off track...yes, there are factions of idiot fans in all cities for sure, and moments of idiocy for all fans, here and there...it's that passion, good and bad kinds

i went to college with her and remember about a month of the entire school being stunned. we had a BPD media relations guy come in and talk with us for a class - and the situation was considered a "no no" topic. right when everyone wanted answers.

but getting back to the point, last night was nothing like the environment of that alcs victory over the yankees. it didn't even compare in raucousness. kenmore was a zoo of people snapping street signs and lights and trying to break into fenway. the celtics victory was straight up happy folks hugging and yelling about kobe around the garden, all while trying to get a glimpse of the celts leaving. huge difference.

My girlfriend went to jr. high and high school with her in EB. She said that almost nobody they grew up with was shocked that it happened. Supposedly she was just one of those people that found trouble whenever they could.

That's not to say she deserved to die, because nobody does. Just saying..
