I know no one here meant their comments to be disrespectful but that incident in 2004 hit a lot of people harder than you think, it's nothing to joke or be sarcastic about. Sorry to put a downer in here, just something some people should realize.
but getting back to the point, last night was nothing like the environment of that alcs victory over the yankees. it didn't even compare in raucousness. kenmore was a zoo of people snapping street signs and lights and trying to break into fenway. the celtics victory was straight up happy folks hugging and yelling about kobe around the garden, all while trying to get a glimpse of the celts leaving. huge difference.
That's not to say she deserved to die, because nobody does. Just saying..
