The "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" has reported that new Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond, told reporters that the team would carry 15 players on the roster in the upcoming season. That of course is the maximum amount of players a NBA team can have, consisting of 12 active, and 3 inactive players. Hammond told reporters that one of the roster spots will be occupied by veteran guard Damon Jones.

I am not sure if Jawad Williams will make the Cleveland Cavaliers' roster, but from what I have been reading, the ex Tar Heel is getting support from the number one Cav, LeBron James.

Alonzo Mourning announced at his Zo's Summer Groove event last night that he will return to the Miami Heat for his last season.

Damon Jones spent the day on ESPN and ESPN2... in one segment if even talked to Skip Bayless about spending the summer helping Lebron James and Boobie Gibson shoot jumpshots from the 'master'...well he clearly didn't know that the Cavaliers don't think he's the 'master'. Hilarious!!

Today, Tribe fans must bid adieu to one of baseball's more popular characters. I say "character" thanks to the fact that Sal Fasano seems to be embody the more popular role for his facial hair than the bat he swings. Apparently the self-glossed "best shooter in the NBA" will not be needed in Milwaukee this season after being a part of the trade that brought Mo Williams to the Cavaliers. Yesterday, Milwaukee announced that they feel it best for all parties involved that Damon Jones and his $4.4 million expiring deal need not report to Bucks training camp.

During last season's Cavaliers run in the post-season, we were big advocates of Damon Jones. The late-season emergence of Devin Brown coupled with the addition of Wally Szczerbiak didn't bode well for the Handsome One's playing time, but that did not stop us from grass root efforts...
