TEAMS: Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings
The Bulls couldn't lure Amare or Bosh to Chicago, but they made themove for Brad Miller and gave up much less than we were hearing in theprocess. Here's a little taste of how the blog world is reacting…Tom Ziller at Fanhouse(Kings Fan): The Nocioni acquisition is odd at best for Sacramento;Andres is 29 years old, getting worse every year, and signed above themidlevel until 2012. He might fit better in Sacramento than Salmonsdid, but Salmons is cheaper and less likely to eat children. We likeour children in Sacramento, and we like our children to have heads. The Bulls should certainly make the playoffs now. Salmons could verywell start in front of Ben Gordon (and make him expendable thissummer). I imagine Vinny Del Negro will start Miller; it's plausiblethat Tyrus Thomas or Joakim Noah could be involved in some trade talks,as well. (Who knows?)The Big Lead:The Bulls send Andres Nocioni, Drew Gooden and Cedric Simmons to theKings in exchange for Brad Miller and John Salmons. Knee-jerk...

PAX SWINGS GOOD DEAL
I love the trade John Paxson
I recently wrote about Salmons and I?m happy that the Bulls finally have a long swingman that can shoot it and put the ball on the floor. Miller has always been a favorite, and the Bulls offense should flow a lot better with the ball going through

Pritchard makes his first move
Updating the previous story, as Chicago made that deal with Sacramento, they also traded 32-year old power forward Michael Ruffin to the Blazers for Ike Diogu, who goes to the Kings. We can try to make basketball sense of this, but there probably isn't much of that, though we shouldn't ...
Derrick Rose is Old School
Basketball fans around the country probably haven't seen much of Chicago Bulls rookie Derrick Rose yet. And truth be told, they don't know what they're missing.
The first thing you notice is his court sense and basketball IQ. He
thinks "pass first," like any point guard should, sees the floor well,
and gets the ball to open teammates, usually with a bullet pass.
Good Riddance, Bulls Trade Larry Hughes to Knicks
ESPN is reporting that the Bulls and Knicks have agreed to a trade
and are awaiting league approval. The deal would send Larry Hughes
(!!!) to the Knicks for Tim Thomas and Jerome James.
So Hughes' short time with the Bulls has come to an end, and Chicago
will welcome James and Thomas. Is it me or does Tim Thomas change
teams, or at least almost change...

The Bulls only had four players on their bench tonight: [...]
Knicks finally get rid of Jerome James
The Knicks did the impossible, finding a team that would actually take Jerome James off their hands. That team is the Chicago Bulls, who will also receive Tim Thomas and Anthony Roberson in exchange for Larry Hughes.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Mike Bibby had a homecoming of sorts as his team came to Arco Arena Wednesday to face an undermanned Sacramento Kings squad that is starting from scratch literally due to a major trade they participated in today.
