According to the Globe, Sam Cassell has cleared waivers and has signed a contract with the Celtics. He will be in town tomorrow and bring the paperwork with him. He probably won't practice with the team tomorrow, but does plan to participate in the Wednesday shoot around. It isn't known whether he will play on Wednesday against the Pistons.

With the signing of Sam Cassell, the Celtics no longer need to keep Gabe Pruitt in Boston as an insurance policy and have re-assigned him to their D-League affiliate, the Utah Flash.
Pruitt has size for a point guard and in his few brief stints with the Celtics this season, he showed some good things. I like the move to send him back to the D-League where he will at least get some...

The Boston Celtics are bringing in veteran point guard Sam Cassell to help guide their team to the NBA Championship. Cassell passed his physical and is expected to join the team in Boston when the Celtics play the Chicago Bulls.

After the Boston Celtics go on a 3 game lossing streak the C's look like there back and there ready for the gold. The C's have a 5 game winning streak and look like there playing as a team. They ( I THINK) are the ones to bet in the East. They have a unstopable starting 5 and look like there ready for the playoffs. there is still plenty of ball still to be played but just...
