The Sports Agent Blog:
This week, the Carnival of the NBA comes home to its original location, Blog a Bull. I Want to be a Sports Agent has only been a cotton candy vendor for a few of these Carnivals (we got in on the bandwagon late) and Matt at Blog a Bull does a nice job revealing some history behind the Carnival way before we were on board. We still wonder when he and others will realize that we are an impostor and not a pure basketball blog like the others in on the parade.
Definitely head over to the Carnival to check out what Matt writes and some of the great stories that he links to. [Carnival of the NBA #50]. I Want to be a Sports Agent made it into the carnival with our recent post on Andrei Kirilenko and his bitching about Jerry Sloan and the Jazz [AK47 Fully Loaded].

No way to tell
I was talking to my brother yesterday, also a Utah Jazz fan, about Andrei Kirilenko. He seems to think he's the best thing since sliced bread (why do people still use that phrase, I wonder? From Russia With Love
As a Jazz fan it's been hard to find stuff to be really happy about and look forward to. But the steady improvement of Andrei Kirilenko has really gotten me excited about this upcoming season. He got a little off track last season due to injuries that didn't allow him to play up to his caliber. Bu...
New NBA Ad Campaign: Where LeBron Dunking on KG Happens
The NBA will be debuting a new ad campaign this weekend to promote the playoffs. Apparently there will be 20 to 30 new spots in the "Where Amazing Happens" theme featuring OMG moments from the ghost of playoffs past. Here's one of the spots:That's LeBron dunking on Kevin Garnett's azz in Game 4 of last year's Eastern Conference Finals. I think the grainy...
Pickup of the Night: March 31
C.J. MILES
This is the guy who's been starting for the injured Andrei Kirilenko. He's a Guard-Forward that can hit the long ball. Last night he had a spectacular game, scoring 29 points, with 4 boards and 5 dimes. He had 17 looks at the basket and hit 12 of those shots. He's started in each of the last 3 games for Utah, so look at him for a potential pickup this week...
Portland Pours On The Points Pummel Utah 122-108
The Portland Trail Blazers shot a red-hot 55.8% (43-77) from the floor for the game including shooting 50% (10-20) from outside the arc as the they hammered the Utah Jazz 122-108 at the Rose Garden Saturday. Utah had a good shooting night as well hitting 54.4% (37-68) of their shots, but their lack of depth with Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko both sidelined due to injuries,...
