Cavs can't stand the Heat, lose 86-81

With DWade's future (for this season) still in limbo, the Heat picked up a good win in a very ugly game against the Heat, 86-81. Shaq didn't look like the Diesel, but he had enough to get 19 and 11. Jason Kapono missed 10 of his first 12 shots, but was on fire in the fourth and finished with 17 points and 11 boards. The Heat got good contributions from its vets, and grinded out a win against a team that is fucking horrible on offense.

For the talent they have, the Cavs have the worst offense in the league. For all his talents and skills, LeBron settles for the outside jumper far too often. More than that, the team dribbles the ball on the perimeter for more than half the shot clock, and then jacks up a jumper. Larry Hughes can't shoot. Eric Snow can't shoot. Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones can shoot, but they either missed wide open threes, or took horrible shots. Drew Gooden has a decent touch from the perimeter for a big, but he settles too much for the 17 footer. Big Z's body is slowing down, and he has personal issues to deal with right now.

I have to say, Jon Barry was damn good as a commentator. For the last 5 minutes of the game, he was calling Lebron out to go to the basket and pointing out the major late game difference between the King and DWeezy. It's refreshing to hear real criticisms, and not in the BIll Walton "Terrrrrible" sort of way.
