43-17 in the West is far more impressive than 47-12 in the East. There are nine legitimate great teams in the Western Conference, so almost every game is going to be a battle. The Celtics, on the other hand, get to beat up on the likes of the Heat, Knicks, Bobcats, etc.

Why is everyone forgetting the celtics record against teams in the west??

celtics r the best in the east i know the east has like 6 sucky teams but if the celtics were in the west they would be either 1st or 2nd

Andrew Bynum

1 through 5 solid, especially on D, and as long as Kobe's on the court they are threatening on offense too.

The only match-up problem they have isn't with any team out there, it's just with Lebron James, and they probably won't have to see him in the playoffs.
