  I hope they mean jason smith. Also, didn't Billups just get a new deal last year? I don't see the pistons trading him a year after resigning/extending him (whichever they did). Of course, I'd love to have him and think he'd make us competitive with the Celtics, but I don't see this as within the realm of possibility.

  I mean, it really isnt that possible.lol. Billups has been my favorite player since he was on the T-wolves, this would make me too damn happy though. Detriot would never give up Billups either.

  i dont think they would do it for just jason smith and one year of andre miller but what if you took out smith and added speights. He gives them a low post scorer that you dont need anymore because you have brand. the only problem is they couldn't really use him this year so it would have to be more of a rebuilding move but it could happen. eventually you have to re tool a team if they keep being the brides maid and not the bride. but i really dont see them trading billups unless they are rebuilding and if that was the case they would have already started to do it.

  We need a 2 guard, Chauncey is point, i say wait and sign T Mac or Redd next year, this year we prove to those two players that the Philadelphia 76ers have the balls to get a ring, but my dream would be for us to get our answer back, and no miller proved he was a top 10 point guard last year why trade that away for someone who can hit an occasional 3 hed be great yes, but not as needed as that 2 guard position, and we all know iggy plays like a forward let him play at that and play young in rotations well have a great looking roster

  Everyone keeps saying to wait and sign one of these big names next year or the year after. Dudes, we made our big move. Brand is it. Don't expect a big name free agent for the next few years. Between Brand and the resignings we're broke.
  
  If we're gonna get a two guard, it's got to be on the cheap or via trade whether we do it this year, next year, or the year after. I say the sooner, the better, but at the latest, next year. This year the team will gel. Next year, the addition of a shooter will make them a serious championship contender, expecially coming outta the east (who knows what will become of Boston and Detroit in two years?).

  No way c-bills is getting traded for that. Since Camby got traded to the clippers. Maybe the Pistons could trade rasheed wallace and prince for carmelo anthony, Ya never know
