Growing up in the D.C. Metropolitan-area, the main lingering memory I have of C-Webb is when the Washington Bullets mistakingly traded him to Sacramento for Mitch Richmond and Otis Thorpe, instead of Juwan Howard. No disrespect to Howard, who had his best NBA years in D.C., but C-Webb has Hall of Fame numbers and was much more exciting to watch.

Janny Hu of the SF Chronicle is reporting Chris Webber will announce his retirement after 15 seasons in the NBA at a press conference tomorrow morning at 10am. Regardless of his production (or lack of) on the hardwood for the Dubs, it sounds like the move to bring C-Webb back to Oakland has been productive and emotional healing for he and Nelson.
