I am writing this as a result of the apparent move by the new owner of the Seattle Supersonics to hijack that team and move it to Oklahoma City. I am amazed that I don't hear more outrage from Cleveland fans regarding this situation. I know we are all very happy here right now in the NBA with LeBron James and the blockbuster deal that Danny Ferry just pulled off to rid this town of Larry Hughes. I know that our noses are buried deep in the newspaper watching the moves that Phil Savage pulls off to rebuild the defense and rise above a surprising 10-win season. But Cleveland fans should be screaming almost as loudly as Seattle fans as cross-country advocates for a city that appears to be about to lose its team.

'Hey Larry Hughes, Please Stop Saving All of Your Good Shots for Games Against Us'
Filed under: Bulls, Cavaliers, NBA Last Night, Chicago, ClevelandI'm not sure the name Larry Hughes and the concept of vengeance ever belong in the same sentence, but what the fungus: Larry Hughes spent Thursday night avenging his former captors, shooting a balmy 11-17 on his way to 25 points, a near...
Sonic's fate
I was just browsing around ESPN this morning and saw this link about the Sonics leaving Seattle. I don't get it. They already have a great venue to play in (went there 2 winters ago and it's in very good condition), great fans, and I'm sure the organization's/affiliates are making some good money from the franchise. So, why is the owner trying to make the city...
Orlando Defeats Cleveland Again in NBA China Games 2007
Orlando finished the NBA China Games 2007 with a 3-0 record by beating Cleveland 100-84. Previously, Orlando defeated Cleveland 90-86 and then the Magic routed the Team China All-Stars 116-92. Dwight Howard led the way for Orlando with 17 points in less than 24 minutes, while LeBron James and Larry Hughes had 14 points each for Cleveland.
Why the Sonics Are Dead to Me
Thanks to the Sports Guy, there has been lots of hullabaloo (that's right, hullabaloo) lately over the Sonics situation. If you read the the letters, most fans tend to focus on one of a few things:
* Villainizing Clayton Bennett. Totally fair, he edges out Al Davis as the greasiest owner of a pro sports team.
* Railing against the practice of teams extorting cities...
Larry Hughes Still Sucks
The new Cavs don't complain about their position, Larry. They seem to enjoy playing with the best player in the world.
