elton brand would be great for the wizards, of course you wouldnt be able to sign jamison in that case. Personally i could deal with that maybe three scorers is to much in washington. Why not have caron and gilbert shooting, while you have elton pounding down low. I think the wizards could benifit from it alot. Caron could def carry a little more of the scoring load and arenas, well he is just arenas we all know what he can do. Before elton brand got hurt, he was considered a mvp. he carried that clippers team far, without really another all-star on the team. If i was gilbert i would be demanding that brand gets signed not jamison. Than he wont have a pf on the three point line, he would have a pf, where there supposed to be down low with a true post pressence.

Not gonna work. First off, Elton Brand has already said he wants to be in LA, because he's impressed by the skill of Al Thornton. So he wants to play with him on the team. Second and last of all, if for some crazy reason they do sign Elton Brand, you can kiss Gilbert Arenas goodbye. Because they wouldn't be able to re-sign Jamison and like Agent Zero says, if the team isn't going to re-sign Antawn Jamison, he's gone. Its actually a bad move. You sign one big superstar and lose 2, something I don't think the Wizards would want to do.

I'm not sure I can see the Clippers just letting him walk - he's pretty much all they've got, so they need to shell out as much money as it takes to keep him. The only way Elton Brand leaves is if he just makes a firm decision to not return to the Clippers. If Elton Brand stays with the Clippers, with the emergence of Al Thornton and Chris Kaman, I think the Clippers are a Baron Davis, a Gilbert Arenas (if any of the rumors of him being traded are true), or a lottery win (unlikely) away from being back in the mix for a playoff seed in the West.

"Young, Blatche, Thomas, McGuire and a future 1st rounder (or two)" That is a really nice dream, I hope to wake up to it one day. But really I dont think its feasible without blowingup the team and I don't think that is a good plan.

theres no way that they could keep agent zero and jamison if they get brand

i second that.

Brand is one of my favorite players and any team would benefit from having him. I think he is better off going to the Wizards because the East is weak. I do agree that the Clippers may have something going if they can get one more piece to the puzzle.

maybe .......
