As reported in the Boston Herald, Doc Rivers and the Celtics are "very interested" in Dikembe Mutombo. Mutombo would serve as the backup center and even at 41 years of age he would still be a quality defender and rebounder...

Fan Boner if this happens...and only a semi, if he has real limited game...the chubby can be maintained, if he can grab 5 Boards, block 1 shot, and score 6-8 a game...sorry for references, just have a sense of humor, and s*** just popped into my head
