I have always considered myself a very logical person. I do believe that dinosaurs once walked the earth and I also have no doubts that man has walked on the moon. Up until Tuesday night I also believed that there was no such thing as a curse or a jinx. By the time the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Orlando Magic in game four of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals had ended however my faith in logic had slipped.

  • Hell No! There is no curse. These Boys just been playing some sorry basketball. They made simple mistakes last night during clutch time. It made my blood boil! I am too old for this nonsense!
  • Sammy,
I think you may have hit the nail right on the head sir. Lack of mental toughness from Cleveland. They allowed the moment to master them rather than the team mastering the moment. When the Magic made their run the Cavaliers lost their poise. You know your stuff sir. But please watch out for that boiling blood!!

The Killer Crossover

There's a lot of questions surrounding LeBron James' career right now. Will he win in Cleveland this year? If he wins, will it convince him to stay in the fabled summer of '10? Can the Cavaliers' much-feared "one-on-five" offense actually work if LeBron is at the helm? But one thing people have never questioned is King James' talent. In the Global Sports Fraternity's...

Who’s Craig Ehlo? Lebron James Writes New Chapter In Cavs History

If you didn’t catch it last night, Lebron made a ridiculous game-winner over Hedo’s outstretched arms with the clock expiring to catapult the Cavs to a 96-95 win.  For us Bulls fans, nothing will ever top Jordan’s shot on Ehlo (besides his shot on Russell and other MJ exploits, but that is besides the point), [...]

Game 5 Preview: Can Lebron Score Less and Win More?

I’m pretty sure the Cavaliers will be welcomed with a loud roar by the fans at Quicken Loans Arena tonight. The Cleveland fans know that a win tonight could spark the Cavs just enough to help them come from 3-1 down to win the Eastern Conference Finals. The electricity in the arena could be enough to get Cleveland through tonight, but it won’t be enough...

LeBron James Would Be The Best Receiver In The NFL

ESPN didn't go nearly far enough. Barring a severe case of alligator arms, LeBron James would be the best receiver in the NFL if he ever switched sports. LeBron was a first-team All-State wide receiver as a sophomore and junior back in high school. His former coach Mark Murphy, who is in the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, compares LeBron to Jerry Rice and Steve Largent.

Another Business Opportunity

Remember yesterday when I started my consulting business? It seems to be pretty successful so far. In fact, I'm already working with Clearasil on a signature line for Delonte West. It should be pretty big, but that's not the point right now. I think I figured out how to save the economy. All I need is a secondary investor in my new blanket business.I went to a fabric store the other...

Kobe vs. Lebron is about to Become Dan vs Dave 2.0 in Marketing Fail

Leading up to the 1992 Olympic games, Reebok pumped millions of dollars into an advertising campaign many of us will still remember. Dan vs. Dave, featured 2 Decathletes who were viewed as the two favorites to win the gold medal. Why they chose Decathletes blows my mind, but at least they avoided Harding vs Kerrigan. Fast forward 17 years later and look what we have brewing. This...

Why the Lakers Won't Beat the Nuggets

When this series started I really viewed the Nuggets as the underdog. With the series now 2-2 I have realized that it is the other way around. The Lakers will not beat the Nuggets because they lack the killer-instinct needed to win a championship (or get there for that matter). We all know what Kobe can do. I myself consider him the best closer in the game. I do believe that Lebron...

MAGIC WIN DESPITE ONE OF THE MOST HORRENDOUS CALLS IN NBA HISTORY

So basically, if you're Lebron James, you can just do the following...Drive to the basket, step on someone's foot, and do a soccer style dive to get the refs to call a foul...Shameful, just shameful

Magic-Cavaliers: The Magic Will Win and Here’s Why

It’s one tough series. Just ask Delonte West! Cleveland.com The Magic and Cavaliers series is going nasty, but great. The Magic are so far leading, 2-1, but they should have been leading, 3-0. I say Magic all the way. Why? Here are some of the strengths the Magic have that Cleveland is no where near matching. [...]

Staying Alive! Cavaliers Top Magic 112-102; Trail 3-2 In Series

It was white knuckle time at the start of the fourth quarter at the Q Arena in Cleveland Thursday night. The Cleveland Cavaliers were fighting for their NBA Playoff lives; trailing in the series 3-1 and in the game to the Orlando Magic 79-78. They had led by 22 points in the first quarter only to once again have blown the lead as they had numerous times previously in this series...

Magic Get Over Time Victory Over Cavaliers 116-114; Lead Series 3-1

The Orlando Magic are now one game away from the NBA Finals as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in game four of the Eastern Conference Finals in over time Tuesday night 116-114. The victory gives the Magic a 3-1 lead with game five on Thursday. The Cavaliers came back from a 6 point deficit in the fourth quarter to send the contest to overtime. However “Superman“  aka...

Cavs-Magic Game Four: 48 Minutees Wasn't Enough, But 17 3's Were

Straight to the micro-blog for the continuing saga of the best playoff year in the history of the Association...I missed the first half as per usual for family obligations, but judging from the game trackers, Orlando came out fast in the first with threes, but the Cavs finally got some support for James. Mo Williams managed twelve in the first half on multiple trips to the line,...
