Dwight Howard + dunking = awesome

Dwight Howard placing a sticker on the backboard during last year's dunk contest was an instant classic. No disrespect to Gerald Green, but Howard got robbed. Howard has worked too hard perfecting his showcase for that to happen again, though. Don't believe me? Too bad. I've got video proof.

In addition to Howard and Green, Jamario Moon and Rudy Gay are also up in the mix. Gay flies high and lobbied on YouTube for some pretty sick dunk ideas. Still, I've gotta go with #12 aka D12 aka Thunder aka Dwight Howard aka the soon-to-be-crowned champion of the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk contest.

	I'm a Grizzlies fan so I gotta go with Rudy Gay. Dwight's practice dunks are pretty sick, though. He seems like a cool dude. I especially like his point about not hanging on the rim. It just calls attention to how tall he is. Not good in the eyes of the judges. Then again, it's not like his height is a mystery. I can't wait for Saturday night. The dunk contest may be better than even the game itself. Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

	I feel that. Dwight is good. I gotta say, though, that Rudy Gay might be better. Or maybe I'm just buying into all that YouTube hype. But all of 'em should be nice. Even Jamario. I see everyone wants to hate on Jamario but dude's got game.

	Too bad Kobe's not in the competition. He would crush 'em all. But since he's too high, mighty and important for a dunk competition, I'll put my money on Dwight Howard. Big men get no respect in the dunk competition, but D12 is going to change that this weekend.

	I wish 'Melo was in the mix. But since he's not I'm gonna go for Dwight Howard b/c you gotta respect a guy who can KISS THE RIM. That is sick. Too bad they won't let him up that rim to 14 feet or whatever. He could do it. Ten is too easy for him. But you can't hold that against him. That ain't right.
