Only 4 times in franchise history has a Celtics team faced 2 game 7's in the same postseason. But yet, here we are in the just the second round already facing the second game 7 of the postseason. The Celtics were favorite to sweep the Hawks and yet that series inexplicably went to 7 games as the Celtics closed out the series with a 34 point rout.

This was an ugly game from the start as even the jump ball was no good and had to be thrown up a second time. It was a defensive struggle right from the beginning with neither team shooting the ball well. Paul Pierce missed his first five shots before hitting a jumper with 1:10 left in the first quarter. He finished the quarter with 4 points on 2-7 shooting. Doc finally gave Eddie...

Once again for the second series in a row, the Celtics will try to close out an opponent in a game 6 on the road. The Celtics have yet to win on the road in 5 tries and hopefully the 6th time is a charm. The momentum is in the Celtics favor as they are coming off of one of their best efforts in the playoff in game 5.

LeBron Beats Garnett, 74-69
Instead of throwing our 5 guys at LeBron, leaving the rest of the Cavs open for easy buckets, we backed off. We didn't smother James until he got in the paint, and although he got a few easy buckets, the plan worked. The Celtics are once again up 3-2 in a playoff series. Talk about a tale of two halves. The Cavs enjoyed a 14 point lead in the second quarter, only to see it disappear on consecutive big shots by Rajon Rondo. Still, the Cavs were in position to win this game but couldn't get it done in the third and fourth quarters.

Listen, I understand Lebron is fantastic! He is one of the top 5 players in the NBA, But after listening to his comments during last night's press conference, I don't know how you can cheer for a guy that only cares about himself.
