Earlier today the first picture one would see on the Timberwolves homepage header was one of Kevin Garnett. Now on their "True Blue" leaderboard part of the page, Garnett is no where to be found; This is after having reloaded the page about 50 times. Now one finds players such as Randy Foye and Craig Smith being headlined. It's just another simple indication that Garnett is on his way to Boston...

Kyle Kraus (Portland-09 Corvallis and pictured left) pitched brilliantly yesterday against defending champion Fresno State. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 9 innings of work. With all of the controversy surrounding the Tim Donaghy NBA referee scandal, Commissioner David Stern needed something good to happen for his league. Now it has.
The trade of Kevin Garnett to Boston means that basketball matters again on the East Coast, particularly in the mega-media markets of Boston and New York.
For the NBA, that is a much-needed boost.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think this trade is a horrible idea for the Celtics and leaves them in terrible shape as a franchise. And I'm pissed.
