We are very happy to welcome Kendrick Perkins II who was born on Monday to Celtics center Kendrick Perkins and his long time girlfriend. Little Perk was 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 20 inches long. Way to go big guy!

ODENwokandi? OlowODEN? The Similarites Are Scary.
Unreasonable expectations usually lead to big disappointments. Will Greg Oden be another noted failed number one pick? There are a lot of similarities to their situations. Same height, similar nicknames, etc. But most importantly, both were labeled by the media as being the next big thing. We think that's a little unfair.
