It took the full 82 games to determine who would meet who in the first round in the West while the Celts sat comfortably at the number one seed the entire season.

Here's where we're at...

1 Los Angeles

Boston, Detroit, Orlando and probably the Cavs (but I'll be cheering for the Wiz in that one). In the West, Kobe, Chris Paul, Shaq Daddy and T-Mac all move on. I'm cheering for Kobe and the Lakers win it all, though I'd also wouldn't mind seeing the Suns or Hornets in the mix, too.

Well - it was the Suns but they didn't show much mercy to the Warriors. I don't blame them for that. It's a toss up for me. I'll be rooting for the Suns and Lakers.

I'm pretty certain it will be the Lakers and the Celtics in the finals, with the Celtics winning it all. With the Laker's best bench in the NBA, you've got a lot of talent on that team. Dallas will take down New Orleans. Houston will beat Utah, but that will be a close one. The Suns will take down San Antonio.

As far as the East, who cares. lol

I don't know if Dallas will knock out the Hornets. Their record isn't too great vs. Playoff teams since the Kidd trade, BUT I did just watch that game last night and for the most part Dallas was in control. So we'll see.

And you're right, I'm going with the Rockets. TMac will finally make it out of the first round.



All that being said...I'm pulling for my Suns!

San Antonio is going to be hard to take down. They will turn it up a notch in the playoffs and they made Shaq look like a choirboy out in Phoenix the last two times they played with a big blowout in San Antonio.

Maybe it was a statement game by the Heat. You know..."we only sucked this season cause we want Beasley or Rose" kinda thing. I didn't watch the game though, so I don't know who played. hah but damn, that score was crazy!

I dont know...A healthy Trix (assuming he stays), Wade and a number one draft pick may land them in the Playoffs next year.

They are in the East afterall.

GO SHAQ! I love Shaq! Funny how they did that split screen commercial with Shaq and Kobe. Takes rivalry to whole 'nother level. Wonder if they knew beforehand.

I still believe Celtics-Suns for the 'ship. I just don't know who's gonna beat the Lakers... and I don't think the Celtics can beat the Suns in seven, but the Pistons can...

I think everything will go like it should except Mavs beat Hornets. The Wizards could beat Lebron.

pullin for a Boston v LA like old times of course with LA takin that title, but would love to see shaq n lebron silence a those naysayers, and will miss Mr. Baron "Boom Dizzle" Davis a TON. his fast break puts a smile on my face

WEST: Lakers, Hornets, Suns, Jazz

I'd like to see Boston take it. I love Garnett, Allen, and Pierce. They are all great guys and deserve a ring. If not them, I think Nash deserves to win one as well

I think Boston, Detroit, Orlando and Washington out of the east. And New Orleans, Phoenix, and Utah out of West. Hopefully somehow both the Lakers and Thuggets lose in the first round

I've been reading everyone else's first round predictions and what not and I just realized I didn't even post mine. Let's see...

Celts, Pistons, Magic and Wiz in the East.
Lakers, Mavs, SUNS, Rockets in the West.


As for the finals, I'm not sure yet.
I'm still torn on whether Detroit or Boston is the better team.
But I'll say Suns in the West. Hey...I'm a Suns fan.
