History Repeats Itself: Golden State Warriors Love to Let Good Players Go.....

I dont know what it is with the Golden State Warriors. It seems every time they have a pretty decent team all the good players leave either through horrible managment, personal interest or in some cases conflicts. Im going to list Players that Golden State has gotten rid of in the past couple of decades and what not, to show that Golden State likes to get rid of good players...

Starting with

1) Mitch Richmond

2) Tim Hardaway- was he fun to watch or what

3) Rony Seikaly

4) Chris Webber

5) Joe Smith

6) John Starks

7) Latrell Sprewell- supposedly is coming back to Golden State (no i actually dreamed of that last night, pretty homo)

8) Gilbert Arenas-Buttbuddy of Antwan

9) Antwan Jamison-BUttbutddy of Gilbert

10) Jason Richardson-

11) Baron Davis

Other notables and primarily big men they got rid of where Erick Dampier, Danny Fortson, Manute Bol, Tom Gugliotta Donyell Marshall, Crowd favortie Earl Boykins, Speedy Clak Clak Clak Claxton....

With regards to the notables: I dont believe they are all good, Im just saying they did have big bodies back in the day and probably why Warriors been playing small ball lately. But Fortson and Dampier were pretty solid as much as I hate to say it back in early 2000's now Dampier is soft like Diapers and Fortson is pretty solid backup.

If their are more feel free to say:::Its just sad how Baron left womp womp.

UMM Tell me He Didnt Just Do that!!!

Heres where your wrong brotha, no one let Baron Davis go, he opted out of an 18 million dollar year left. So he became a free agent, sure the Warriors could resign him, but since he has a greater self worth then most of us perceive, we would have to dish out a longterm 100+ million dollar contract for an injury prone 29 yr old pg...

as far as Jrich goes, he was a pawn in a game to get KG to the bay, but that didnt work cause kevin mchale and danny ainge are butt buddys...

but you are right, generally we have a tendency to let go of some great players.

hahaha mchale and ainge indeed...the title prob was misleading with management the key scapegoat but i agree regarding baron situation tho i did say uptop that players left due to personal interest (BARON DAVIS did that) and Management (Baron didnt like what was happening)...J rich leaving was stupid.

Something is very wrong with Warriors managment they really know how to ruin a good thing...But Latrell's NBA days are over! I doubt he will return to his one time All Star glory or the Warriors especially since he beat down the old Dubs coach P. J. Carlesimo back in the day! Letting go of Gilbert, Antawn, Jason, Baron and almost all the other names on thise list was out right crazy!

Booker, come back to the WWE! We need the real King back!

hahahahhah....I hear you...I really did h8 how they made him King Booker,...Its beyond funny hearing Booker T scream out "Now can you dig that Suckkkaaa" and all his catch phrases...

Unfortunatly King Booker had no Role in Lord Baron leaving, but that peasent did what is best for him.. Golden state management is a joke just like my Knickerbockers....Now i hear that Monta Ellis might be movied....

Found a pic of Baron Davis on the Clippers.

Why is Rony Seikaly, John Starks or even Joe Smith on that list. I honestly never cared for those guys when they were on the team.

hahahah...Rony Seikaly was in NBA jam Tournament Edition and he was a double double each nite in his two years in Gstate....JOhn Starks was drafted by the Warriors and then he went to my Knicks. The second stinit I forget how Starks did and Joe Smith was pretty good in his early years...If you want Ill swap in Erick Dampier and Speedy Claxton in the list for those three....The whole point is that GState tends to lose lots of good players.... how bout Sarunas Marciulionis and Chek out Baron Davis n Captain Jack...

Since NY doesnt allow anything fireworks related, not purchasing or launching for the dumbest reasons...Security reasons my ass Booker T wants to celebrate his 4th of July. Patriotism my ass as well...

.Ill be down south with lots of fam n relatives ya dig...I will take pictures of rednecks what not and post some articles when i got back...Until then Have a Nice 4th of July weekend Suckkkkaaaass!!!

Going way back.... the Warriors also let go of Robert Parish and the draft rights to Kevin McHale. Also, the let go of Jamal Wilkes to the Lakers and won with Magic Johnson in 1980. World B. Free and Bernard King other notable warrior greats who left and won championships with other teams. Mario Ellie won with the Houston Rockets.
