Although neither were able to beat out Seattle's Kevin Durant for the NBA rookie of the year award, both Luis Scola and Al Horford were able to join him. The NBA announced the selections for this seasons NBA All-Rookie team, joining Scola, Horford and Durant were Al Thorton of the LA Clippers and Durant's teammate Jeff Green.
