How would Artest vs. Battier go down in the Octagon?
In getting Ron Artest from the Sacramento Kings, the Houston Rockets have gotten a supremely talented player who is capable of being a lockdown defender and versatile offensive weapon. Great, but the Houston Rockets also have starting small forward Shane Battier, who is a great defender, three-point shooter, and all-around glue guy.
Artest has a big ego and is a little crazy, so there's no way he's giving up the spotlight at the 3. Battier is a team player and gentleman, so he will put aside his pride, but if the game don't fit, who knows? Artest vs. Battier could become more than a push for playing time - it could become a battle in the cage! ( More after the jump )
