Over the last few days I have found myself involved in a very interesting discussion with some knowledgeable NBA fans over at YardBarker.com. The discussion emanated from the game recap I wrote after game six of the Eastern Conference Semi Final series between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic. Orlando knotted up the series by winning the game and forcing Boston to play a game seven Sunday night. The recap was entitled Superman Has 20-20 Night As Magic Beats Celtics 83-75; Game 7 Sunday.

You along with GG and Jamestime were the inspiration for the piece, and as I wrote you yesterday I appreciate the inspiration and conversation! I also wrote you yesterday and I think this article reflects that one of the main reasons that D-Howard is so dominant is the lack of any serious competition. I wrote as well that his dominating this era which is a low point for true centers in the history of the Association does not reflect where he stands with the greats who came before him. The only disagreement you will get from me is saying that the Diesel is arguably the best center of all-time! AT BEST He is SIXTH, Russell, Chamberlain, Kareem, Moses and Hakeem were all far better in my mind than the Big Aristotle!
