The Washington Post article also goes in depth about Under Armour's entry into the athletic shoe industry currently controlled by Nike and Addidas. Under Armour is definitely an exciting company that has created a market for under garment that does not reatain moisture. Whether it can recreate its success with sneakers remains to be seen. I think that is the bigger story. To learn more go to http://www.newyorkshockexchange.com/content/view/83/37/

The Sports Agent Blog:
The conundrum that is where highly-touted basketball recruit Lance Stephenson will play his college ball may be solved as easily as looking at the shoes he wears.
Stephenson, a guard for Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, which is known for producing stars such as Stephon Marbury and Sebastian Telfair, is the ninth-ranked prospect in the class of 2009 according to Rivals.com.
Some insight into his recruiting situation first comes with the fact
that Lincoln is an Adidas-sponsored program, but this arrangement
doesn't stop Stephenson from sporting his Nike produced Air Jordans
each game. Despite his loyalty, Stephenson was not asked to participate
in the Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden on April 18, some
believe due to Lincoln's deal with Adidas.
Stephenson's recruiting trail heats up when his prospective schools
are considered. The 6-foot-5 blue-chip prospect is considering St. John's (a Nike school), Kansas (an Adidas school), and Maryland (an Und...

I'm so sick and tired of Gilbert Arenas
I am really wondering if all this Agent Zero to Agent Hero junk is getting to this guys head. Once again he make an overzealous statement about being a max paid player. Where does he get off making all of these statements? He recently said in the Washington Times saying, "I'm still going to be the number one free agent. I mean on a bad leg I still average 22." He then...

Which NBA Player Does Rose Most Resemble?
Of all the player comparisons brought up during the Final 4 regarding Derrick Rose, I never once heard someone mention what to me was the most obvious comparison. A point guard with similar inner city roots, high school championships, similar non-national power college choices, both 3rd team all american freshman years, and both bailing after their freshman year. The obvious comparison...
What the #%$^ Just Happened?
How in the world can you blow a 17 point lead with 14 minutes remaining?
First of all, I don’t care that Mo Williams was out. Everybody has to deal with losing starters, and the Knicks were also playing without Nate Robinson (as well as the addition-by-subtraction loss of Stephon Marbury).

Why try to make a two guard a point guard?
Let's hope that basketball executives and coaches stop this insanity of trying to turn two guards into point guards. Stephen Curry and Rodney Stuckey make Stephon Marbury look like John Stockton.
