by Matt SteinmetzFiled under: GrizzliesSACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Allen Iverson made his debut for the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night in Sacramento, and for someone who hasn't played in a month or so, it wasn't too bad of one. Iverson, returning from a partial left hamstring tear, had 11 points in 18 minutes in the Memphis' 127-116 overtime loss. He said the hamstring felt fine. But it was another part of his body that Iverson wasn't feeling so good. "I had no problems (with the hamstring)," Iverson said afterward. "I had a problem with my butt from sitting on that bench so long. That's the only thing I got a problem with."Iverson Returns, Unhappy About Role originally appeared on Fanhouse NBA Blog on Tue, 03 Nov 2009 02:15:00 EST . Please see our terms for use of feeds. WATN: Iverson's Debut in Memphis

After undergoing a grueling, miserable season with the Pistons that saw him fall from top ten to not mentioned at all, Allen Iverson finally emerged from the mire last night in his debut with the Memphis Grizzlies, three games into their season. Yep, Allen Iverson is Already Upset

by Marcel Mutoni / @marcel_mutoni A few weeks ago, I wrote a completely insane season preview for the Memphis Grizzlies. The gist of the piece was that this year was going to be an absolute disaster for the team — well, even moreso than usual — and that Allen Iverson would be one of the main culprits. Thing is, though, even I didn’t truly believe that things would...

Iverson Is Already Pissed, No One Is Suprised

So remember on September 9th, when I posted on this very site, that Allen Iverson was going to Memphis? I questioned just how long it would take for him to become angry with his role on a young team and well, last night marked the Answer’s first outburst. After playing in his first game of the season due to a hamstring injury, Iverson scored 11 points in just 18 minutes in the...
