There have been a few occasions here at BostonSportZ where I've had to question (attack?) a fellow writer. These attacks have always been warranted (and always pointed at someone who's getting paid a lot of money to write their garbage), and today's is no exception. Without further ado, we're going to be giving the Fire Joe Morgan treatment to ESPN Page 2's Jemele Hill. Enjoy...

This is why the established sports journalists hates bloggers... no longer can they spew their idiocy without fear of rebuttal. Everytime they publish something stupid, someone will be there to call them out on it. Well played!

I didn't actually have to read the whole article to know how I feel about Jemele Hill. I appreciate that, at times, she is able to really display her knowledge of sports. But there are many, many times when you can tell she has not a lot to say that's of substance. Clearly an opinion piece where what would have been nice was a professinally written, and factual, column.

I read that and I read a lot of her stuff. It's usually pretty bad. I'm pulling for her because she's young, female and another minority, but she's just not that good. I listened to her on Simmons' podcast and she just wasn't that interesting. If you read her regularly she contradicts what she's written previously. Personally, I could do without her writing.

I'm pulling for her too. She knows sports but, you're right, she's just not that interesting. It's like she is TRYING to be interesting and failing miserably at it. Hope she gets it together soon.
